极乐视频 today announced the appointment of Arent Jan Hesselink to the role of general manager, 极乐视频 Amsterdam effective April, 1 2016. As general manager of the Amsterdam office, Hesselink will lead a multinational team covering all sectors and industries. Hesselink will report to Michael Stewart, president and CEO, Europe & CIS.

Hesselink joins 极乐视频 from Royal Philips where he has been managing the transformation of Philip鈥檚 global integrated marketing operation and has set up a new, global offering around content marketing. Hesselink spent four years with Philips in Singapore as head of integrated marketing for the Asia-Pacific region, where he built a fully integrated marketing function across 12 markets and three business sectors. Before Philips, Hesselink was a journalist, editor and bureau chief for Dow Jones News in Amsterdam.
